The Role

As part of our Children with Disabilities (CWD) team, you'll join the active case work section, managing a variety of complex cases requiring ongoing assessment, intervention, and support. You'll also play a key role in shaping practice and supporting colleagues, making a lasting impact on the children and families you work with.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage a complex caseload independently, ensuring all statutory requirements are met.
  • Provide advice, mentorship, and critical support to team members.
  • Conduct meaningful direct work with children, young people, and families to build strong, purposeful relationships.
  • Produce clear, concise assessments and intervention plans that meet statutory requirements.
  • Take a leadership role within team meetings and supervise students, contributing to the team's professional development.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Professional Qualification: Social Work degree or equivalent and Social Work England registration.
  • Experience: Significant post-graduate experience in complex or specialist casework, ideally within children's services.
  • Skills: Strong report writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable: UK driving licence and access to an insured vehicle for work purposes.
