MASH is the first contact for potential child safeguarding concerns, uniting agencies to identify risks and needs early. We ensure timely, effective actions to improve outcomes for vulnerable children.Duties and Responsibilities:?? Promote and safeguard the wellbeing of children in all work aspects.?? Manage an independent workload, meeting legislative standards and deadlines.?? Assess, analyze, plan, and implement interventions for complex cases, managing risk and seeking senior support as needed.?? Produce clear assessments, plans, and reports, ensuring recommendations are followed.?? Ensure a clear transfer plan when cases are transferred to another service or partner.?? Maintain accurate, confidential, and evidence-based records in line with statutory requirements.?? Develop effective relationships with children, families, and carers, promoting participation in decision-making.?? Collaborate with colleagues and agencies to deliver effective services and empower safe parenting practices.?? Continuously improve personal performance and professional development through training and supervision.?? Represent Slough Children First's values, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.What do you need?? Professional Social Work Degree or equivalent, and residing in the UK? Social Work England registered? Demonstrable experience as a social worker with children and families? Knowledge of the legal framework and assessment process in Children’s Social Care? Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including children, families, and professionals? Driver's license and car
