Milk Education is looking for a Creative Graduate to join a specialist SEN school in Slough as a Learning Support Assistant. This is a long-term opportunity, starting immediately, where you will gain hands-on experience working with children with autism, social communication challenges, and additional learning needs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting students one-to-one and in small groups, helping them to access learning through creative approaches.
  • Encouraging self-expression, communication, and engagement through Music, Drama, Art, or Creative Writing.
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and adapting materials for pupils with SEN.
  • Helping students develop social, emotional, and communication skills using creative interventions such as Makaton, PECS, and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) tools.
  • Promoting inclusion and fostering a safe, nurturing learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A 2:2 or above in a relevant degree (Music, Drama, Sports, Art, Creative Writing, Psychology).
  • A passion for education, SEN support, and creative learning techniques.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience working with children (desirable but not essential).
  • Enthusiasm, patience, and a commitment to making a real difference.
