We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a warm and inclusive Special School in Slough. The school caters for children with a range of additional needs, including Autism, Speech and Language difficulties, and Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties.

About the Role

As an SEN TA, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
  • Support students' emotional and social development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to support each child's progress.
  • Adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual needs.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential).
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A willingness to undertake relevant training.
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
