We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students at a diverse and inclusive special school in Slough. This school caters to pupils aged 2-19 with a wide range of educational needs, including moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties with profound and multiple needs, and pupils with Autism.

The school provides a nurturing and supportive environment where each child is encouraged to thrive both academically and personally. With a dedicated team of educators and therapists, the school ensures that students receive a holistic education tailored to their individual needs. The school’s ethos centers around fostering independence, confidence, and social skills, preparing pupils for positive future outcomes.

Responsibilities:

?? Supporting students with varying needs, including moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, and Autism.�? Assisting in delivering tailored learning activities and therapies.?? Promoting communication and social skills development.?? Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to support individual learning plans.? Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.?? Assisting with personal care where necessary.

Requirements:

? Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential).??? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.?? A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.?? Right to Work in the UK and an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).�? Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable.
