Religious Studies Tutor

An experienced and supportive tutor is required to provide ongoing GCSE Religious Studies tuition to a KS4 learner with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The learner is currently accessing education from home and is preparing to sit GCSE exams in 2025. There is a particular interest in learning more about Muslim culture while still studying all major religions.

Tuition will take place at the learner's residence in Slough.

• Hours: 2 hours per week
• Duration: Ongoing

• Deliver structured and engaging GCSE Religious Studies tuition tailored to the learner’s needs.
• Provide support in understanding key topics, exam techniques, and coursework.
• Explore all major religions while offering deeper insights into Muslim culture.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit the learner’s learning style and SEN requirements.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.

• Experience tutoring GCSE Religious Studies, preferably with SEN learners.
• Understanding of ASD, ADHD, and ODD, with the ability to implement effective strategies.
• Patience, adaptability, and a supportive approach to learning.
• Ability to engage and motivate a learner who prefers home-based tuition.
