Academics LTD is working with a specialist school in Slough that provides therapy-based support to children aged 5 to 18 with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The school is seeking an empathetic and motivated SEN Specialist to join their dedicated team. This role offers an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside qualified SEN practitioners and psychologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with external professionals and psychologists to support students' progress.
- Offer tailored support to students with Autism and other complex needs.
- Help children reach their learning and development milestones through a personalised approach.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for working with children or a strong interest in Mental Health.
- Stay calm, adaptable, and resourceful when faced with challenges.
This position is ideal for individuals seeking to gain valuable experience in the fields of Education, Teaching, Psychology, or Mental Health. Whether you're a graduate or someone with a Level 3 qualification, this role will provide the skills and exposure needed to advance your career. While prior experience with SEN children is beneficial, it's not essential-what matters most is your dedication and willingness to learn.

- Pay: £83 - £95 per day (depending on experience, training, and qualifications)

- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)
- Experience: Not essential, but a proactive and caring attitude is a must.
