As a member of the Neighbourhood Service team this post provides a generic administrative function across both Enforcement and Tenancy teams, plus a support role specific to the Neighbourhood Tenancy teams.

To support officers and Neighbourhood Manager to deliver an excellent housing management and ASB prevention and enforcement service to our residents within a specified geographical area.

To support and facilitate the delivery of a high standard of service against an agreed Service Plan for the assigned area in consultation with residents.

Provide excellent administrative support in relation to the management of the council owned garages (and car ports) that are available to be rented by members of the public. This includes the administration of the garage lettings, allocation of garages and terminating garage rental agreements.

Lead on preparing and completing all paperwork associated with signing up tenants to new tenancies. This includes conducting viewings, meeting with new tenants to complete relevant paperwork, identity checks and ensure that the first period of rent is paid in advance of the tenancy being signed.

Lead on the completion of all mutual exchange processes from receiving an alert from the relevant Housing Officer through to completion of the exchange within the statutory timescales.

Provide an excellent level of client related administration to support housing officers, tenancy team leaders and Neighbourhood Managers to allow them to work efficiently and effectively with the Repairs, Maintenance and Investment contractor.
