Then why not make our journey your journey?As Customer Procurement Manager, you will be supplier and customer facing, responsible for managing key strategic National Account Customers as well as supporting the business in winning tenders.Your role will be to negotiate supplier rebates on behalf of the customer, examine range rationalisation opportunities, and undertake cost saving initiatives on behalf of the customer. You will also be required to present product innovation opportunities to the customer and organise innovation forums for the customer where required.The role of a Customer Procurement Manager is extremely varied and requires a number of different skills to succeed. You will need to be a strong negotiator that has sound commercial acumen, with the ability to present to customers and manage successful customer relationships, as well as work cross functionally with the Category Management team, Contract and Tenders team, National Accounts team, Marketing team and Finance Team.We are looking to recruit a high calibre individual who is entrepreneurial, with the energy and drive to maximise the growth opportunities of our customers.You must be able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and above all be able to multi task in a timely and efficient manner.  Purchasing or sales experience is required, preferably within the Foodservice/ Wholesale sector.The ability to drive and travel is an essential part of the role.About the CompanyOur journey began back in 1929.
