Job Title: Sustainability Coordinator (Fixed Term Contract - 18 months)

Job Description:

Our award winning, well established client are looking for a Sustainability Coordinator, based at their head offices with regular on site visits.

This is a varied role, working closey with and reporting to the Sustainabaility Team and across multiple areas of the business, supporting project teams in complying with environmental regulation and company standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting site visits to manage risk and check that operations are carried out in line with best practice and make recommendations for improvement
  • Gathering, analysing and reporting of sustainability data
  • Working with the project team to identify and implement innovations to reduce waste generation.
  • Raise awareness of the Sustainability strategy and standards, to include training of staff

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, ability to build relationships at all levels of an organisation and drive change
  • Previous experience in sustainability or a keen interest in the subject
  • Strong administrative skills, including Excel
