Wirer role outside IR35!

£18/hr Ltd + Overtime

Are you looking for your next workshop-based Wirer role?

Do you have experience wiring large power distribution boxes?

Our client manufactures everything from extension leads, cables, sockets, and electrical distribution boxes. There is a lot of diversity in the products, which means no two days are the same.

Wirer Requirements:

  • Must have previously held 18th Edition qualification / ECS card
  • Prior experience as an assembler in an Electrical environment
  • Previous experience with rack builds and panel wiring
  • Able to do point to point wiring
  • Expertise in crimping, cable making and harnesses
  • Wirer must be capable of wiring and general assembly
  • Must possess a good understanding of engineering drawings and be able to assemble products accordingly

Wirer Responsibilities:

  • To wire, assemble and build products as requested
  • Follow engineering diagrams and pick up on errors where applicable
  • To be responsible for the quality of your production and assembly output
  • To liaise with the Production Supervisor on current production targets, schedules and workload
  • To alert the Production Supervisor as to any procedural changes
