Overview:
My client, a fleet maintenance company is looking for an experienced Service and Maintenance Manager. Your primary responsibilities will be to manage and control the efficient running of the aftersales department, train and develop new staff and continue to improve customer satisfaction and deliver the highest standards of service.
There is also a responsibility to identify opportunities to improve processes.
General duties:
- Write up service manuals and reports
- Organise the maintenance required within the depot
- Plan and allocate work for Technicians based on their expertise and skills and ensures repairs are completed correctly
- Acts in a professional manner to develop ongoing relationships
- Communicates effectively with all parties
- Maintain good discipline and organisation for the workshop, ensuring it is clean, tidy and safe, and monitors the workshop team
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician
- Leadership experience
- Great hydraulic experience
- High level of communication and human relations skills
- HGV Licence (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent Microsoft experience (Word, Power point and Excel)
