Warehouse operative Colnbrook based £25.000 - £30.000 DK Recruitment is seeking for an experienced, motivated warehouse operative in the colnbrook area.This role will be for a worldwide freight forwarder where you need experience in hhandling bonded import freight into the External Temporary Storage (ERTS) facility in accordance with regulations and breakdown of inbound ULD’s as required. You will be operating forklifts, and appropriately load & unload trailers / ocean containers in a damage free manner. Signing of bills of lading accurately and verifying counts & damages.Strong experience in warehouses, preferably some knowledge regarding import & export is advantageous.Qualifications/needs:
- Able to walk / stand for long periods of time while frequently bending, twisting & reaching.
- Pre-employment drug screen as part of job offer.
- Flexible in hours & Days.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous warehouse / freight forwarder experience
- Familiarity with Bills of Lading, Shipping Manifests, Delivery Orders, etc.
