Job Title: Water Technician
Location: Covering London S/E, Kent, Hampshire, and Surrey
Salary: 29,000 - 35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Vehicle: Company Van & Fuel Card
On-Call: No on-call requirement
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Water Technician to join our growing team, covering London S/E, Kent, Hampshire, and Surrey. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining water systems and ensuring they are compliant with all safety and health standards. A background in Legionella awareness and experience with Chemical Dosing would be highly advantageous. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated technician looking to further their career in the water treatment sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and treatment of water systems to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards.
- Carry out water sampling, testing, and reporting on the quality of water systems.
- Perform Legionella risk assessments and implement control measures.
- Work with chemical dosing systems to maintain water quality and prevent corrosion, scaling, and biological growth.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and inspections carried out.
- Travel between sites across London S/E, Kent, Hampshire, and Surrey using a company van provided.
- Provide professional customer service and technical support on-site.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a water treatment or water systems role.
- Legionella Awareness (Legionella Risk Assessment experience would be highly beneficial).
- Experience with Chemical Dosing and water treatment systems.
- Strong understanding of water hygiene, water systems, and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- Full UK driving license (company van provided for work-related travel).
- Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach.
- Proactive attitude towards health & safety and compliance.
