Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team, specializing in welding materials of 5mm thickness or below. The ideal candidate will have experience working with precision welding in industries such as manufacturing, fabrication, or repair.



Key Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on thin materials (5mm and below), ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards.
  • Weld a variety of materials, including but not limited to stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel.
  • Prepare and set up welding equipment according to job requirements.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Conduct pre- and post-welding inspections to ensure quality and structural integrity.
  • Maintain clean and safe working conditions, following health and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve welding defects such as porosity, cracks, or misalignments.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and customer specifications.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a TIG Welder, specifically with thin materials (5mm and below).
  • Proficiency in welding various metals, especially stainless steel and aluminum.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in welding environments.
  • Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME, or equivalent) is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Physical dexterity and ability to work in various positions, including standing, crouching, or overhead welding.
