FRS are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a SME manufacturing business based in Smethwick.

Candidates MUST have used Sage previously and hold 2-3 years' experience within a similar role (SME business & Purchase Ledger duties). Alongside this, candidates must be happy with an office-based job role, Monday to Friday on site in Smethwick. The business can offer a salary in return of circa £25/26k.

Duties Will Include

  • Process purchase invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Prepare payment runs and ensure payments are made on time
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve payment issues and discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions in the purchase ledger
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing of invoices
