CLASS 2 DRIVER
MONDAY TO FRIDAY: AD HOC & FLEXIBLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE
£15.00 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Smethwick, WEST MIDLANDS.

Rates of Pay:
- Basic: £15.00 per hour
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- RDC or Brewery Deliveries no handball (working on curtain-side)
- Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Must be able to do multidrop
- Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills
As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:
- Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
- Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving Category C vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
- Previous experience with multi drop deliveries will be beneficial
Training
- Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
