Remuneration: £40,000 - £42,000
Benefits: Standard pension, 4x death in service, 21 days annual leave
The role of the Estimator - Cladding & Facade Systems will involve:
- Estimator position dealing with high end fabricated aluminium rainscreen cladding systems
- Validating contract costs and estimating team workloads
- Receiving tender enquiries and producing general take-offs to create quotations and estimates using an in-house software package
- Establishing relationships with sub-contractors
- Preparation and issuing of formal quotations to customers
- Proactively following up on quotations to convert the sales
- Liaising with Technical, Detailing & Customer Services Teams
- Prioritise own workload to ensure customers’ deadlines are met
- Estimating for projects ranging in value from £30,000 up to circa £1,000,000
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Cladding & Facade Systems with:
- Must have some estimating experience dealing with cladding and façade systems
- Highly advantageous if experience in rainscreen cladding with a preference to aluminium
- High levels of attention to detail to produce accurate quotations
- Familiar with Estimating software & ideally CRM systems
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Robust, positive outlook and team player
