In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery, including the Hwacheon Hi-Tech 200B MC turn-mill CNC lathe and the Proturn SLX 355 CNC lathe. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating bespoke solutions that meet their clients' specific needs.

Operating as a manufacturing business that works within multiple sectors like; Architectural, Construction, Steel, and Automotive.
What we need from you as a CNC Machinist:
- Strong experience in CNC lathe programming, setting, and operating
- Knowledge of machining processes, materials, and quality standards
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Fanuc and ProtoTRAK control systems
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
This role will involve you reporting to the CNC Machine Manager. Duties to include:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to manufacture high-pressure regulators and valves
- Perform CNC machining of subcontract-turned parts as needed
- Engage in CNC milling and assist with toolmaking, jigs, and fixtures when required
- Collaborate with the CNC Machining Manager and other team members on various manufacturing tasks
- Ensure quality control throughout the machining process, adhering to technical drawings and specifications
- Engage in related duties associated with the manufacture of bespoke products
Salary/hours:£31,200 - £35,360 per year depending on qualifications and experience. Working 40 hours per week on days, Monday to Thursday 7.30am 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am 2pm.
