This role involves collaborating with various departments to assess training needs, develop curricula, and ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve business goals.PermanentSmethwick£50,000 - £55,000Key Responsibilities
  • Works with department heads and other key stakeholders to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
  • Utilize things like survey, interviews and performance data to determine training requirements.
  • Design and develop comprehensive L&D programs, including onboarding, technical training, leadership development, and soft skills enhancement.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually.
  • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve L&D initiatives.
  • Support succession planning and talent development initiatives by identifying high-potential employees and creating personalized development plans.
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal use of resources.
Key Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in learning and development, with a proven track record in designing and delivering successful training programs.
  • Experience in GAP analysis is key
  • Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and improve training effectiveness.
