- Act as a front-line liaison between customers and internal departments, ensuring excellent service.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., production, admin, and stock control) to ensure smooth order processing and issue resolution.
- Receive, process, and complete sales orders for both counter and contract customers.
- Flexibility to take on tasks that may involve Parts, Service, and Sales functions.
- Provide regular reports and feedback to the line manager, highlighting any concerns.
- Ensure accurate completion of paperwork, including delivery, warranty claims, and QHSE documentation.
- Offer customers technical advice and product pricing information.
- Organise delivery and collection of products in a timely manner.
- Handle counter and contract warranty claims efficiently.
- Maintain proper filing and administrative duties as required.
- Support the business with ad-hoc duties when needed.
- Previous experience working in an automotive parts distributor, dealership, or repair shop.
- A passion for cars and automotive mechanics, willing to learn and develop knowledge of automotive parts.
- Knowledge of stock control and ordering processes.
- IT proficiency, particularly in parts cataloguing and point-of-sale systems.
- Experience in a customer-facing role within an automotive, service, or dealership environment.
- Office-based experience, ideally within a parts or service department.
- Strong communication and organisational skills with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
