Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit hardworking and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Smethwick.

EYFS specialism essential Knowledge and Experience with SEND in EYFS Is a caring professional. Has a clear understanding of the early years curriculum Has a dynamic and creative approach to learning Has high expectations of attainment and behaviour Has energy and enthusiasm, an open and positive approach Is able to work supportively and work in a team

JOB DETAILS:Location - Smethwick Position - Level 3 Teaching Assistant Type of work - Early Years Foundation Stage Contract or position start date- ASAP Duration - term time only Contract or position end date - July 2024 Contract type - Temporary Full time/part time - Full time Minimum rate of pay - Negotiable Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30pm : Mon - Fri (term time only) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants (or recognised equivalent qualification)
  • Experience in schools preferred
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last yea

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
