- Safety Culture & Leadership: Promote a positive safety culture across the site and engage leadership in health and safety goals.
- Compliance & Audits: Implement and monitor Safety and Environmental Management Systems (SMS/EMS) and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
- Incident Management: Investigate incidents and maintain records, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
- Training: Deliver safety training and provide technical advice on health, safety, and environmental matters.
- Transport Safety: Ensure transport operations meet safety and environmental standards and drive FORS certification from Bronze to Gold.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for ongoing safety and environmental improvements.
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Health & Safety (essential).
- FORS Practitioner Certificate (essential or willing to train).
- Experience in LGV operations and fleet management.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001/14001, risk assessments, and HSE regulations.
- Leadership: Drive safety culture and lead by example.
- Communication: Effectively engage with stakeholders and deliver training.
- Analytical Skills: Investigate incidents and identify risk-reduction opportunities.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of HSE and environmental legislation
