MB Connected is partnering with an established family-run business in Smethwick to appoint a bright and enthusiastic junior Credit Controller for their finance department. In this role, you will engage in all aspects of credit control, build key relationships with various sites, and manage the company’s debt. Key responsibilities

  • Contacting customers to chase overdue payments.
  • Resolving queries and disputes efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records.
  • Preparing and analysing customer statements.
  • Assisting with credit checks and risk assessments.
  • Supporting the credit control manager in developing and implementing credit policies.
  • General administrative support to the finance team.

Key requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative/finance-based role.
  • Proficient user of MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and results oriented.
