Warehouse Supervisor Wanted!

Your Role:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and smooth processes.
  • Lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve team goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy in stock management.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimise operations and meet customer demands.
  • Implement and maintain best practises to improve productivity and streamline processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Proactively address any issues or concerns that may arise, taking appropriate action to resolve them.

What You Bring:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse supervisory role, ideally within the steel industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of at least 8 to 10 operatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Good organisation and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, loading experience and inventory management best practises.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and be available for occasional overtime.
