What You Will Do:
- Lead the creation of 3D concept designs using advanced CAD software, ensuring high-quality and innovative solutions.
- Develop detailed technical and assembly drawings, along with Bill of Materials (BoM) management, standardising design principles to maintain excellence.
- Perform basic FEA analysis on components to guarantee durability and suitability, enhancing product reliability.
- Be the main technical liaison for key customers, resolving technical and delivery issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with the production team to develop new tools, jigs, and methods to improve operational efficiency and product quality.
- Identify and liaise with manufacturing suppliers for design support, contributing to the continuous improvement of products.
What You Will Bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, coupled with at least 5 years of design experience using CAD software.
- Proven expertise in pneumatic and hydraulic system design, with a strong portfolio of 3D models and technical drawings.
- Experience in reverse engineering, geometric design, tolerancing (GD&T), and familiarity with relevant ISO standards.
- Effective communication skills, capable of liaising with suppliers and customers on technical issues.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team, driving projects to completion.
