Design Functional Solutions: Solve engineering problems with innovative, practical designs.
Full Design Lifecycle: Manage designs from initial concept and detailed specification through to the final working packs for the build team.
Technical Drawings: Create accurate part and assembly drawings for manufacturing.
Compliance: Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards, including UKCA, CE, and Machinery Directive requirements.
Mechanical Specifications: Develop comprehensive mechanical specifications for production equipment.

Trainee Mechanical Design Engineer Essential Skills & Experience:

Practical experience or strong knowledge of mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes.
Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
Understanding of traditional manufacturing processes like milling, turning, grinding, and fabrication.
NVQ/HND/BTEC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
