We are seeking a passionate DT Teacher in Smethwick, who can inspire students and nurture their creativity. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver exciting DT lessons, with a focus on Resistant Materials, to students in KS3 and KS4.

Provide guidance and support to students throughout the design and production process, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Assess students' practical skills, evaluate their design portfolios, and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues to organize workshops, exhibitions, and other events that showcase students' DT projects.
Stay updated with current industry trends and technological advancements in Resistant Materials.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Specialization in Design and Technology or Resistant Materials.
Experience teaching DT with a focus on Resistant Materials at KS3 and KS4 levels.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks for DT.
Proficiency in using relevant software, tools, and machinery.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
