AR604 - Assistant Production ManagerLocation: SmethwickSalary: £35,000 - £40,000Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking Assistant Production Manager a on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will support the current senior management team with the day-to-day production shop floor operational issues to ensure the highest quality and customer service at the lowest cost.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To assist senior management to ensure daily production plans are met.
  • To conduct daily shopfloor meetings with production team leaders.
  • To generate shift reports for senior managers.
  • To assist in resolving production shop floor issues.
  • To be responsible for issuing and collecting daily production plans to the relevant teams.
  • To assist with handling shop floor personnel issues.
  • To assist with conducting staff disciplinary and grievance matters.
  • To assist in encouraging a positive and work focused culture within the production areas.
  • To assist with ensuring the highest hygiene and housekeeping standards

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Enthusiastic and positive approach.
  • A mature graduate would be preferable.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership experience within a food environment would be preferable.
  • Computer literate.
  • Must be responsible, committed and positive.
