The Role – Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4)We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join a high-performing secondary academy in West Bromwich. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive department where you can make a real impact on student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons to KS3 & KS4 students
- Teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, following the national curriculum
- Differentiate lessons to support SEN and EAL students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extra-curricular activities
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Minimum 6+ months teaching experience in a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Passionate about education with a track record of raising attainment
- Ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Supportive and collaborative Science department
- Excellent CPD opportunities and career progression
- Well-behaved, motivated students
- Strong links with local communities and educational partnerships
