- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, adapting activities to suit their individual learning styles and abilities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate and modify curriculum materials as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting a sense of belonging for all students.
- Monitor and record progress, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Support students during therapy sessions and other interventions.
- Assist with personal care and mobility needs as required.
- Minimum of a 2:2 degree or a Level 3 in supporting children.
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with diverse needs.
- Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures related to SEN.
- First Aid and Safeguarding training (desirable).
