Join our client’s team as a Warehouse Operative for a global leading parts distributor and manufacturer. This role involves handling products from delivery to dispatch in Birmingham, managing inventory, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring products meet quality standards.

Day-to-day of the role:

Preparation and Dispatch:
- Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, and packing boxes.
- Ensure products match the picking list in terms of quantity and specifications.
- Report any non-conforming goods.
Inventory and Safety:
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Keep the warehouse tidy by organising shelves and pallet areas.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
Product Handling:
- Move goods around the warehouse efficiently, handling multiple quantities of small packages in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasionally cover driving duties if required.
- Update inventory system with new or remanufactured parts.
Finishing Tasks:
- Track goods received in the Finish Room.
- Ensure finished products are stored correctly.
- Engrave, label, pack, and clean units to high standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Basic or willing to learn MS Excel.
Understanding of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) legislation.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple quantities of small packages.
Experience in conducting stock checks and working as part of a team.
Positive attitude towards work and alignment with company goals.
If applying for a driving role, experience in vehicle maintenance and a valid driving license are advantageous.
