Our client in the Smethwick area is looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join their fun and vibrant team due to continued business growth!

Benefits:

  • Pay rate - £13p/hr
  • Hours of work - Monday to Friday - 09:00 to 17:00

  • 28 Days Holiday (Inclusive of Bank Holidays)

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Read PDF drawings on required products, prior to any welding.
  • Complete welding on products, while adhering to quality control policy and procedures.
  • Utilise mild steel only when welding.
  • Ensure you follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure you keep a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Support in welding products such as benches and tables.
  • Operate some hand tools, such as priming tools.
  • Support other teams as required, such as the paint plant team.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experienced MIG Welder, utilising Mild Steel.
  • (Desirable) TIG Welding experience.
  • Able to read PDF drawings, outlining welding requirements.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace.
  • Experience operating hand tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
