Orion Group are working with a leading M&E Contractorto source an Mechanical Contract Manager to add to there Highland Based Team.
This is an exciting time to join our client's business, as they are experiencing a period of growth and have a healthy pipeline of high-profile projects. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in supporting the senior management team in delivering these commitments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee mechanical and plumbing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Manage project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers.
- Plan and schedule project tasks to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Prepare and manage project budgets while tracking expenses.
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns.
- Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections as required.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Oversee daily maintenance operations as needed.
- Proven experience in mechanical and plumbing project management.
- Degree or Qualification in Mechanical / Plumbing Engineering or relevant trade experience.
- Strong leadership and resource management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Thorough understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.
- Full Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required.
