Orion Group are working with a leading M&E Contractorto source an Mechanical Contract Manager to add to there Highland Based Team.

This is an exciting time to join our client's business, as they are experiencing a period of growth and have a healthy pipeline of high-profile projects. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in supporting the senior management team in delivering these commitments.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee mechanical and plumbing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Manage project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Plan and schedule project tasks to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets while tracking expenses.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns.
  • Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections as required.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in mechanical and plumbing project management.
  • Degree or Qualification in Mechanical / Plumbing Engineering or relevant trade experience.
  • Strong leadership and resource management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Full Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required.
