GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teacher to join a dynamic school in Snaith. This role offers the perfect opportunity to engage with a diverse range of students, ensuring their educational needs are met in the absence of their regular teachers.

About the Role:

As a Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for students by stepping into various teaching roles as required. Your adaptability and commitment to high-quality teaching will ensure that students continue to receive an engaging and supportive learning experience.

Supply Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour and ensure a conducive learning environment.
  • Follow and deliver pre-set lesson plans, ensuring learning objectives are met and students remain engaged.
  • Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback to support their academic progress.
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and age groups, demonstrating versatility in teaching methods.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a seamless educational experience for all students.

Supply Teacher Job Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, or equivalent).
  • Prior experience in teaching, ideally across multiple key stages and subjects.
  • Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Willingness to work on a casual basis with availability to cover at short notice.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to inspire students to achieve their best.

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
