Job Role – Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Shifts – 4 on 4 off x 7 then 18 Days Off – You don’t even work 1/3 of the year!

The Company

As a multi skilled maintenance engineer, you will have the chance to work for a company that holds a large market share over its competitors and is a multi-site manufacturing group! The company produces products involving some of the biggest brands in this sector! As a multi skilled maintenance engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a fully automated site and state-of-the-art machinery to play your part in maintaining the company’s title as a market leader!

The Role

  • Conducting PPMs and responding to breakdowns
  • Working on mechanical components including belts, conveyors, hoppers, hydraulics, bearings, pneumatics, wrappers, and dryers
  • Conducting electrical responsibilities involving fault finding on 3 phase motors, PLCs, invertors, AC/DC drives, and relays
  • Working on your own projects by analysing which areas of the plant can be improved

Requirements

To work as a multi skilled maintenance engineer, our client requires:

  • A level 3 NVQ in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Previous experience in working on electrical and mechanical components
  • Background experience in fault finding on PLCs and in control panels
