Description
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts
- Accruals and prepayments
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Contribute to variance analysis and commentary
- Provide assistance with audits
- Ensure accurate ledger maintenance
- Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties
- Comply with all financial regulations and standards
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- Minimum of AAT Qualification
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables and look-ups)
- Experience in a similar role within the business services industry
- A keen eye for detail and strong numerical skills
- A proactive approach to work and excellent problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
