Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide support to local Managers in inventory management.
  • Play a key role in the interim and year-end audit with external auditors.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate production of key management account information.
  • Assist with the preparation and reconciliation of various balance sheet items, including the posting of journals.
  • Provide assistance in the commentary on various balance sheets.
  • Contribute to the month-end closure procedure.
  • Proactively manage workload to meet all deadlines within the month-end timetable.
  • Support fellow team members in the day-to-day running of the Finance department.
  • Undertake ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and project work.

Qualifications/Education:

- Essential: GCSE or equivalent.

- Essential: AAT or CIMA/ACCA Studier.

- Desirable: Finance or Accounting degree.

Experience:

- Essential: Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.

- Essential: Competent Excel user

- Desirable: Experience of ERP Systems.

- Desirable: Experience within a manufacturing environment.

Specialist Training Required:

- Essential: Avante/M3/Epicor (training will be provided).
