Introduction

Our client is a leading global supplier in the mineral processing equipment sector. This client, located in Crayford, plays a crucial role in manufacturing and distributing equipment to clients around the globe. They now have an opening for a design engineer to join their dynamic team. This position is particularly ideal for recent graduates with maybe 2-3 years in a professional setting. The successful candidate will have the chance to grow alongside the company, with potential opportunities for international travel to assist clients worldwide.



Responsibilities

  • Design heavy process plants.
  • Create detailed drawings of plants.
  • Perform process design calculations to support design work.
  • Assemble technical documentation packages.
  • Develop proposal drawings for tenders.
  • Create process flow diagrams and piping & instrumentation drawings.
  • Comply with health and safety policies, fulfilling the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and Environmental Legislation.


Requirements

  • HNC or degree qualification.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong knowledge of processes and/or mathematics.
  • Experience with CAD, 2D and 3D drawing software.
  • Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of stress analysis (advantageous).
  • Familiarity with bulk materials handling equipment (advantageous).
