We are currently recruiting numerous HGV Class 1 Drivers to work with a very reputable supermarket chain.
We are looking for afternoon, night and early AM drivers, starting between 16:00 and 04:00!
What will you do in a typical day?
As a HGV Class 1 Driver you will be tasked with delivering to stores in the local and surrounding counties. An average day will require you to complete around two runs per shift.
Drivers will be required to professionally represent the brand whilst on the road, delivering a great service with a passion for the job! No two shifts are ever the same, for most of the day youll feel like your own boss, however there is always a team of managers and colleagues back at the distribution centre ready to support you when you need them.
We can put drivers forward who have held their licence six months or more, as long as they have Class 1 experience within that time!
What are the shift patterns?
Currently we are looking for drivers who can start anytime between 16:00 and 04:00.
We need candidates who are available for four/five days out of seven and are happy to work at least one day every weekend!
What are the rates of pay?
- Days - £16.55ph
- Nights (22:00 - 06:00) - £20.69ph
- Weekends - £22.02ph
- Overtime Days (46.25 hours) - £24.83ph
- Overtime Nights (over 46.25 hours) - £28.97ph
- Overtime Weekend (over 46.25 hours) - £30.29ph
The client operates their payroll Sunday through to Saturday and night rate kicks in between 22:00 and 06:00.
