Location: SnodlandSalary: £12.19 per hourHours: Monday to Thursday (7.30 am to 4 pm), Friday (7.30 am to 12.30 pm)

Are you an experienced Warehouse/Stores Operative? Do you have a valid Forklift licence? Our client, a leading player in their sector, is seeking a proactive Goods In / Goods Out and Stores Operative to join their team. If you're organised, IT-savvy, and looking for a role that offers a balance of physical and administrative tasks, this could be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage stock transactions using ERP systems.
  • Handle inbound goods and ensure accurate storage.
  • Oversee the movement of stock to maintain smooth operations in the stores area.
  • Pick and issue parts to production lines following strict procedures.
  • Support the dispatch process, ensuring goods meet customer expectations.
  • Perform basic quality checks on incoming materials.
  • Unload vehicles promptly and ensure all goods are labelled correctly.
  • Execute stocktake processes and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Liaise with third-party storage facilities and manage haulier bookings.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Essential: Excellent IT skills (especially in Excel), and a valid counterbalance forklift licence.
  • Desirable: Prior experience in stores or factory settings.
  • Organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good communication skills, both within a team and independently.
