Our client a well established wealth manager is now looking for a trainee Mortgage Adviser to join the growing team.

Job description

We provide financial advice, wealth management, fund management and ongoing service support for pensions, investments, life assurance, employee benefits and mortgages.

About the role:

You will be employed as a mortgage administration with the aim to becoming a mortgage adviser.

As a mortgage administrator you will be completing every administration aspect of the mortgage process from start to finish. This will include filling out mortgage applications, chasing lenders, getting agreement in principles and supporting mortgage brokers.

You will support the Mortgage Adviser with business submissions through to completion, liaising with customers, providers, estate agents and solicitors.

You will have a busy pipeline to assist with.

We are seeking someone with the following attributes:

Great communication skills (written, verbal, digital, in-person and over the phone)

Confident manner

Analytical skills

Organisation and planning, and the ability to work under pressure

Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently

Experience of Trigold advantageous

Confident and proficient using computer systems (in depth knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, in particular Microsoft Excel and Outlook required)

Confident working alongside senior staff
