We are looking for a qualified Year 3 Teacher to join a friendly primary school in Snodland on a part-time basis. This role involves a job share, with the majority of planning and marking handled by the permanent teacher. This position starts after Easter and continues until the end of the academic year, making it an excellent opportunity for those seeking a balanced work schedule with professional fulfilment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Teach Year 3 students every Thursday and Friday, providing high-quality education and support.
- Engage in an element of lesson planning and marking, complementing the efforts of the permanent teacher.
- Utilize creative teaching methods to enhance student learning and engagement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to encourage academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with the permanent teacher to ensure continuity and coherence in teaching strategies and classroom management.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a primary school teacher, with specific experience in Year 3 preferred.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills, capable of working effectively in a job share setting.
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage limited planning and marking responsibilities efficiently.
- Competitive daily rate ranging from £150 to £230.
