As Hotel Operations Manager, you will ensure support is given of a smooth day to day running of all the operations. Effectively deputising and support the Group GM and to champion and maintain consistency of brand standards. You will be a Hotel Operations Manager who is product and customer focused with a clear focus on training and development in all departments within the hotels. To help manage an effective cost programme to ensure budgeted sales and profit targets are met.

The hotel is currently Government contract, however will be changing back into guest facing.

Key Responsibilities:

路 To take control of set areas within the hotels and accountability for these areas.

路 To work in conjunction with Group GM and ensure smooth running of all areas of the hotel.

路 To ensure there is a high standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety in all areas always.

路 Key accountable departments will include Sales, Revenue, F&B Operations, Reception Operations and some basic Finance.

路 To deputise the Group GM Manager & Sales Manager in ensuring the statutory legal compliance is adhered to overall within the group.

路 To ensure achievement of all KPIs both financial and legal criteria.

路 Participate in guest activities that promote the hotel product and its services

路 To be aware of competition and market trends

路 Work within the hotels budget figures, maximising revenue, and minimising expenditure

路 To work alongside all HODs

路 To control expenses to agreed levels with all HODs across the hotels.

路 Coach and lead the teams to ensure that our guests receive an exceptional level of service and want to return.

路 Encourage the team to work flexibly, which will develop their knowledge and assist in the event of absence cover and allow service standards to be maintained.

路 To assist HR in production of departmental training plans, action the training and evaluate to ensure that the training is relevant and achieves the required goals.

路 To assist the Group GM to carry out departmental appraisal reviews in a timely and appropriate manner.

路 Ensure that the team is constantly improving their product knowledge to maximise revenue and the service provided.

路 To ensure that the image of the hotel is always upheld.

路 To ensure there all information from the Health and Safety meetings is communicated to all team members.

路 To ensure compliance throughout the department and hotel with brand, hotel, and company operating standards.
