Mitchell Adam are excited to be recruiting for a Management Accountant role located in the Solihull area. Our client is a large multifaceted business that is looking to welcome a new Management Accountant into their existing financial team. You will be working closely with the Financial Director and given the freedom to pursue ad hoc projects as you see fit.
This role will require you to undertake some regular Management Accountant duties such as, reconciliations, variance analysis and cash flow. You will also gain exposure to: costing, cash flow forecasting and full management accounts prep within the group for multiple subsidiaries. This business is a fast paced and dynamic environment, meaning that you will need to be confident in completing the duties outlined, as well as having the ability to think on your feet.
The successful candidate will be hardworking and sociable, as well as having prior experience completing the full management accounts, ideally for an SME business. The overall team dynamic is important to this business so in order to succeed you will need to be a genuine team player who is willing to get stuck into their work.
What you'll need:
- Previous experience in a similar role working for an SME business would be preferred however is not essential.
- Be in the process of obtaining your chosen professional qualification whether this is ACCA or CIMA.
- To be a motivated individual that is looking to further themselves professionally.
- Have good communication skills that you will be able to utilise when dealing with financial, as well as non-financial, stakeholders.
