We are currently working in partnership with a Manufacturing company based in Solihull who are looking for a Management Accountant to join the team on a 15-month FTC.

This will be a full-time position, with hybrid working (3 days home working) and a salary of £50,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have a background producing management accounts and be confident identifying and driving process improvements and costs saving initiatives.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing accurate management reporting to assist with key decision making
  • Identifying and implementing areas for improvement for financial reporting
  • Analysing financial information to assist business profitability and growth
  • Completing month end P&L adjustments, accruals & prepayments
  • Providing month end P&L commentary and reporting vs budgets/forecasts to the Financial Controller
  • Managing capital expenditure and the Fixed Asset Register
  • Producing relevant commercial analysis / KPIs e.g. margins and pricing
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting with annual audit processes
  • Contributing to annual budgeting and planning processes
  • Calculating, presenting and paying VAT and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations/processes
  • Calculating commission for Sales Representatives and supporting with payroll

Experience required:

  • Experience producing management accounts
  • Experience driving process improvements

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
  • Tuesday and Thursday required in the office
