REED Practice are currently working with a reputable Accountancy Practice based in Solihull who are recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their established team. This is a firm that has been operation for over 100 years and prides themselves in the quality of the accounting services provided to their clients.

Duties for the role include but are not limited to:

  • Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole Traders & Partnerships
  • Preparation of Corporation Tax computations & Returns
  • Preparation of Personal Tax Returns
  • Capital Gains Tax Returns
  • Assisting the VAT team on an adhoc basis
  • Liaising with clients and HMRC
  • Assisting the junior staff members

The ideal candidate must have

  • 3 years or more practice experience
  • ACCA/ACA part qualified, but not essential
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping packages such as Sage, Xero, Quickbook's, etc
  • Confident and a good positive attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and ability to multi-task
