Assistant Accountant, Temp to Perm Opportunity:
Our client, is seeking an Immediately Available Assistant Accountant professional to join their team. This is a temporary contract with one day per week on-site and the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be actively studying for a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with annual and interim audit processes.
- Support tax compliance and ensure obligations are met.
- Prepare financial reports to support decision-making.
- Aid with balance sheet reconciliations and management.
- Contribute to cash flow management and weekly cash position reporting.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting.
- Ensure accounting controls are accurate and reliable.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders.
- Part-Qualified in CIMA, ACA, or ACCA (study support available) or Fully Qualified AAT.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborative and proactive mindset.
- Study support for professional accounting qualifications (once made permanent)
