Supplier Quality Engineer overview -

Liaise with various key suppliers and internal operations teams, to successfully resolve issues, and encourage quality, productivity improvements, and drive cost reductions.

Supplier Quality Engineer responsibilities include -

• Review suppliers, ensuring capabilities are aligned with quality, cost, and delivery targets,
• Analyse performance data and document information.
• Use performance data to perform current and new supplier audits.
• Create reports on findings and implement the required action plans to improve processes.
• Implement quality tools and techniques, ensuring the business reaches its annual objectives.

Supplier Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience -

• knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
• Knowledge of QMS such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, or IATF 16949.
• Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC), or relevant training.
