SF Recruitment are working with a business based in Solihull who are looking for a New Business Development Exec - Events to join the team 1-2 Days based in the office £27,000 + Commission Must have 1+ years experience within sales Key activities and responsibilities ? Work with the Business Development Director to achieve the revenue targets for Exhibitor sales. ? Everyday is selling and striving to hit target. Cold calling, email, social media lead gen, face to face show walking, networking and researching. ? Be part of sales and the Exhibitor Outbound sales team - winning and processing orders. ? Encourage and motivate colleagues, maintaining a healthy level of competition. ? Conducting sales calls on Teams or face to face. ? Presenting at Exhibitor Days, generating leads and being a point of contact. ? Work within the sales strategy to grow the business on shows where we are the official contractor; including develop retention plans to demonstrate growth year on year. ? Build on unofficial sales, by working with Business Development Director to identify new shows and Organisers. ? Constantly look for crossover opportunities between official and non unofficial shows, building multi show exhibitors. ? Visit Exhibitions to ensure Exhibitors are satisfied, scoping out new opportunities and bringing competitor knowledge back to the department. ? Manage and own your sales pipeline to ensure there is sufficient opportunity to meet targets. ? Work to increase the scope of work and services we provide to clients - upselling and cross selling when appropriate and ensuring a profitable mix of income. ? Work with the wider Commercial Team to explore/ support the opportunities for sales within organiser relationships. ? Work closely with internal colleagues on the ordering processes to ensure an effective hand over and all information is captured on internal systems including clarity, salesforce, SOP. ? Ensure all CRM systems and reporting information are up to date, well maintained and accurate. ? Provide regular financial reports to the Business Development Director on pipeline, targets and won work. ? Maintain regular communication with existing & prospective clients.
